After more than a decade long sommelier career that included stops as Head Sommelier at Bouchon Bistro, three and a half years as a sommelier at The French Laundry and a year at Per Se in New York, Garth Hodgdon was hired by Champagne Krug as their National Ambassador. For the next five years he traveled the country hosting tastings, dinners and educating the next generation of Champagne lovers. Garth has been named "Best New Sommelier" by Wine & Spirits, placed second in the Chaîne de Rotisseurs Young Sommelier Competition, passed the Advanced Exam with the Court of Master Sommeliers, been featured in many national and international publications and spent about 45 seconds onscreen in the documentary "SOMM."
